Our boat is called "The Reason Why" and was built by Cornish Gig rowers, Paul Harris and Steve Gardner for the Woodvale Atlantic Rowing Race 2007. They started the race on 2nd December 2007 from La Gomera in the Canaries and arrived in English Harbour, Antigua, in the Caribbean in the early hours of Sunday 27th January 2008. Their journey took them a total of 55 days 12 hours and 3 minutes. Paul and Steve were raising money for Cornwall Hospice Care - a Cornish charity which provides specialist palliative care to terminally ill patients.
